Jet Lag Symptoms Are A Part Of Life For Frequent Fliers »

How To Prevent and Treat Jet Lag

Have you or someone you know ever moved to a distant country and found out that it was not easy to fall asleep and get quality sleep? If the answer is yes, then you have experience a common sleep disorder known as Jet Lag or time zone change syndrome, which affects the circadian rhythm and manifests as a mismatch in the timing of your natural sleep patterns (like bedtime and the time when you are awake).

It is very likely to happen when you travel a long distance by airplane across several time zones, this puts you in a situation when you need to sleep and wake at a time that is not the one your internal body clock expects.

Your body clock controls the circadian rhythms in your body which occur in a cycle of 24 hours and make you feel sleepy or awake at certain times each day telling your body when it is time to go to sleep every night and when to wake up.

The problem is that, because of the speed of the travel your body finds it difficult to adjust quickly to a new location, this causes you to experiment sleep disturbances, stomach problems and you can not function normally during the day and are less alert.

Jet Lag can affect both men and women no matter the age, but it affects mostly to pilots, flight attendants and business travelers for obvious reasons. Besides, older adults can have more problems with this because they could need more time to adjust to the new time zone and get a good night’s sleep than younger adults .

How to prevent and treat Jet Lag

Specialists recommend frequent travelers or people who are traveling a long distance to plan ahead to avoid any problem sleeping, this means to slowly adjust the sleeping and waking times before actually going on the trip, this way their schedule of sleeping and waking will be similar to what it would be in the country they are traveling to, making it easier for their body to adjust to the new time zone once they arrive.

On the other hand, if you are already suffering form Jet Lag, then what doctors advice is rest periods, light therapy and trying natural sleep aids for sleeping, and the most common recommendation in this case is Sleepatil.

Sleepatil is a natural sleeping pill comprised of ingredients that have been used for centuries by indigenous cultures around the world to cure various types of common sleep disorders such as Jet Lag.

This natural herbal supplement helps you to maintain your normal sleep cycle by allowing your body to enter a state of relaxation, making it easier for you to fall and stay asleep, increasing your overall health.

These natural sleeping pills have organic ingredients that help soothe your mind and body, allowing you to release anxiety acquired throughout the day and fall into a deep and restful sleep, forgetting about Jet Lag and helping you to adjust to the new time zone much easier and faster.
